The flowers are small, fragrant, and form rounded clusters up to 3 inches across, blooming continuously under optimal conditions. This variety is particularly noted for its heat tolerance, mildew resistance in select cultivars like Superbena® Whiteout, and ability to attract butterflies and other beneficial insects. It's perfect for hanging baskets, window boxes, or as a ground cover, where its trailing stems can spread gracefully.

Transplanting Instructions

  1. Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Amend heavy soils with compost to improve drainage.
  2. Dig a hole slightly larger than the 3-inch pot. If the roots are pot-bound, gently tease them apart to encourage growth.
  3. Place the plant in the hole so the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface.
  4. Backfill with soil, firm gently, and water thoroughly to settle the roots.
  5. Space plants 12-18 inches apart. Water regularly until established, then reduce to moderate levels as the plant is drought tolerant. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
